Late arrivals and early pick-up policy

Hello!

I have been asked by the administration to remind you all that any late arrivals or early pick-ups must go through the attendance office. You cannot drop off your child late in the morning (even 5 minutes) and send them into the room nor can we any longer just release students from our room for early pick-ups. You must go with your child to the attendance office to sign them in or stop by the attendance office before we can let them out. The attendance office will contact staff in the room. This is a safety issue as well as an attendance policy strictly enforced at the high school. Regardless of you letting us know, until we hear it from the attendance office we will not let students leave. If you send in your child late & haven't gone to the attendance office your child will have to go to the attendance office and we don't have the staff to walk your child down. Apparently this has become a significant problem so there are absolutely no exceptions. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause but rules are rules. Thanks for your understanding!
