Today Matthew & Hannah made Thankful Trees with Mrs. Sears! They enjoyed listening to a story about being thankful and then wrote their own thanksgivings on leaves. Mrs. Sears helped the kids attach them to their trees!

Early dismissal on Wednesday, Nov. 13th
Just a reminder that on Wednesday, November 13th the students will be dismissed at 12:35pm. Please let me know if pick-up routines will be different than on a regular day. We have meetings beginning promptly at 12:45pm at Lindbergh High school so PLEASE plan on being in the lot/pick-up location at the time of the dismissal bell in order to assist us with getting to our afternoon meetings on time. The students WILL be eating lunch that day but much earlier than usual (9:45am) so if you would prefer to just send a snack and feed your child lunch after they have been dismissed let me know and I will plan an activity in the classroom during their scheduled "lunch" time. Thanks!!

Halloween Hits the PALS program!!
Matthew & Hannah made their OWN spooky lunch today! They worked on spreading the PB & J, learned the difference between a sharp knife (use with a grown-up) and a bread knife (use for spreading but don't need an adult to use it)! They learned how to use a large cookie cutter to make Halloween shapes with their bread. Next...monster cupcakes!
